Former Walkers Crisp Factory, Swansea
Residential development of 107 dwellings on the site of the former Walkers Crisp factory in Swansea. Comprised of a mix of one, two and three bed flats, maisonettes and houses. The redundant Walkers Crisp factory building was purpose built in 1948 in the Art Deco style. The art deco façade has become a local landmark and it was listed by CADW in 2000 for its exceptional architectural interest. This scheme retains the listed art-deco facade and clock tower converting them into apartments with the surrounding development designed in a simple complimentary style.
