McDonald Architects provided local architect input to implement the designs of Peter Marino Architects of New York. The project included the reconstruction of the Grade 2 listed building behind the retained façade and redevelopment of the existing site to provide retail accommodation from ground to third floor with a double height space at first floor, and staff accommodation to the upper levels. Connecting the open plan levels is a new glazed lift shaft and glass lift car with a black wenge stair core wrapping the lift shaft.
